What is Petals Lite?

Petals Lite is a service that allows florists to send floral orders around the world. Petals Lite is a unique system which any florist, in any country, can join. This is a great system for florists with small order volumes or for florists looking to expand their international sales.

Florists can send domestic and international orders.

Petals Lite is simple and easy; all you require is access to the Internet. Florists all over the globe can register immediately to begin sending their orders. Petals Lite has no membership or monthly fees. Florists can send their orders through the system immediately and receive their commission upfront

Florists can be registered or unregistered users. There's no obligation to join, if you'd like you can try out our system before joining.

Can I place same day deliveries?

Monday to Friday
Same day delivery by a Petals Florist is guaranteed throughout Australia and New Zealand on orders placed before 2pm in the recipient's time zone. Same day delivery can be available on orders placed after these times, but it is not guaranteed.

Same day delivery by a Petals Florist is guaranteed throughout the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland on orders placed before 12:00pm in the recipient's time zone. Same day delivery can be available on orders placed after these times, but it is not guaranteed.

Saturday
Same day delivery by a Petals Florist is available throughout Australia and New Zealand on orders placed before 11am in the recipient's time zone. Same day delivery can be available on orders placed after these times, but it is not guaranteed.

Same day delivery by a Petals Florist is available throughout the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland on orders placed before 10:30am in the recipient's time zone. Same day delivery can be available on orders placed after these times, but it is not guaranteed.

Please note: Deliveries to remote or difficult delivery areas may not be same-day guaranteed.

Saturday international deliveries may not be guaranteed.

Petals can usually deliver international orders within 48 hours but Petals is bound by the operating guidelines of our international partners.

What prices should I charge my customer?

Price lists are only available to registered Petals Lite members. Our price lists show the minimum value required for a floral order, this value includes flower value, handling and delivery. Price lists are available in the following currencies: USD, CAD, EUR, GBP, AUD and NZD. To receive a price list, email Petals Network with your member number and price list request.

For unregistered members, follow the steps from the home page through to the product and ordering pages:

  • Select the country that you wish to send to and,
  • Choose a product from the range on offer for that country and their corresponding prices will be displayed.

Note: The price displayed includes the flower value, delivery fees and handling charges.

How is the value of the order apportioned?

Register Petals Lite Members - Receive a 20% sending commission at the time you place your order. The 20% sending commission is deducted from the flower value when you order. The flower value is the value of the order minus handling and delivery charges.

Unregistered Petals Lite Users - Receive a 15% sending commission at the time you place your order. This is deducted from the flower value

Where do I go if I or my customer has questions about the Petals service?

If your customer has a question about the Petals service (delivery times, substitution policy etc), please refer to our Customer Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) or contact Petals for more information.

What if I want to send a product but at a higher price?

In the "product information" section of order page, simply increase the total order value to the value that you wish to send. You may wish to use this option when a customer has given you a certain amount to be used. However, please note that you are unable to specify an amount below the minimum shown.

How do I send an order?

  • If you are registered, enter your member number and press submit or,
  • If you are unregistered, On the Home Page, select the country that you are based in:
    • A Selection Guide showing products available for your country will then be displayed.
    • If you wish to send an order overseas, select the destination country from the menu on the left hand side of the screen. 
    • If you wish to send in a different currency, select the currency menu on the left hand side of the screen (below the country menu).

Do I need to install new software?

No, all you require is access to the Internet. Petals Network provides you with an online ordering system. You can log into Petals Exchange with your member number and password. Once logged in, you can send orders, track orders and view our product lists.

For unregistered Petals Lite users, you select your country from the options available on Petals Lite to begin sending.

What is the "Please Select your country" menu on the home page?

This allows Petals to know where the order is coming from and apply the correct delivery and handling fees.

Why should I become a Petals Member?

Petals Membership is available to Australian, New Zealand and United Kingdom florists. Registration with Petals ensures that you have your own customized ordering system which remembers your credit card details and other trading options. This means that you don't have to type them in every time you send an order.

Whats the Petals Florist Directory?

The Petals Florist Directory gives customers the ability to locate and choose a particular florist. The Petals directory has been operating for several years, and has recently been updated with coverage extended to over 40,000 florists worldwide. Any florist can register their details with Petals and have greater information available to consumers on the directory.
